We
have included a number of pictures of Andlau to give you an idea of
its picturesque beauty:

The
Andlau Abbey complex, founded by Ste. Richarde in the 9th century.
Click here or on the "Andlau Abbey"
link to the left for a brief description and history of the Andlau
Abbey.
The
Andlau river flows from the Vosges mountains to the Rhine. In years
gone by, it served some 16 mills as it passed through the village
that gave it its name.
Numerous
medieval villages, with half-timbered homes, dot the foothills of
the Vosges mountains of the Alsace.
